Function description
- You program CNC milling machines directly at the machine and/or using CAM software.
- You translate technical drawings into precise and efficient CNC programs.
- You determine the tools, clamping methods, cutting parameters, and machine settings.
- You oversee new parts from prototype to mass production.
- You optimize programs, cycle times, and setup processes.
- You assist operators with technical and programming questions.
- You contribute ideas regarding machine selection, tools, and efficient production methods.
- You provide feedback to engineering on manufacturability and product improvements.
- You help establish the technical standards and work methods for the new CNC department.
Requirements

- You have a technical background in mechanics, machining, or equivalent experience. - You have at least 3 years of experience with CNC programming. - You have a strong knowledge of CNC milling and, preferably, experience with brass or other non-ferrous metals. - You have experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, and/or CAM software. - You can read technical drawings and understand tolerances and surface finishes. - You combine technical insight with an analytical and solution-oriented approach. - You work with precision and enjoy contributing ideas on process optimization. - Knowledge of Lean, 5S, SMED, or TPM is a plus. - You are fluent in Dutch, English, and/or French. |
