5-Shift Maintenance Technician

Your role

Respond to breakdowns that stop production, working to minimize downtime.
Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on machinery.
Take an active part in investment projects.
Replace defective parts with spare parts from the warehouse.
Suggest and take initiative on improvements to installations.

The position follows a five-shift schedule.

Requirements

Requirements:	You may feel at home in this role if you enjoy understanding how technical systems work and finding practical ways to keep them running. Electromechanics, electrical engineering, or electricity is your area of study, or you bring equivalent experience. Electrical networks, reading frequency drives, and understanding fault messages feel familiar—or are areas you’re keen to develop. You can use electrical diagrams to trace and investigate problems, and basic knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs is a welcome plus. A safety-minded approach comes naturally to you, alongside an interest in mechanical systems and spotting opportunities to improve them. You like taking initiative and working independently, and you’re open to a five-shift schedule. Experience is helpful, while curious, eager-to-learn recent graduates are welcome too.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Starting pay of €19-22 gross per hour, approximately €2,350-2,581 net per month; higher pay may be possible depending on your experience and skills.
A shift premium of up to 12%, or approximately €270 net per month; the exact amount depends on the work schedule.

A daily travel allowance based on distance and means of transport.

Travel costs to Belgium reimbursed up to €125 after four weeks of work. Transport can also be arranged, with costs explained in advance.
Furnished private accommodation is available for €110 per week, including utilities, unlimited internet, and a washing machine.
