Electrical Technician wanted for thriving carton packaging company in Hooglede!

Are you the right person to strengthen our team?

Our client, a leading company in the carton packaging industry based in Hooglede, is looking for a passionate Electrical Technician.

What does this challenging role involve?

  • As an Electrical Technician, you are responsible for both the preventative and corrective maintenance of our advanced machinery.

  • You are an expert at identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.

  • Keeping track of the daily action list is part of your duties, including carrying out the lubrication plan, preparing scheduled interventions and visually inspecting the machines.

  • You also have the skills to identify and resolve hydraulic and pneumatic issues.

  • In addition, reporting to the person in charge and maintaining documentation in the library are important aspects of your work.

What do we expect from you?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or a graduate qualification specialising in industrial electrical engineering.

  • Experience in an industrial environment is an advantage.

  • You have extensive knowledge of PLC systems, AC/DC motors, sensors, variable speed drives, network and bus systems, diodes and capacitors.

  • A good command of both Dutch and English is required.

  • You are flexible, do not have a nine-to-five mentality and are willing to work on Saturdays if necessary.

  • Safety comes first for you, and you work in a structured way with an eye for quality.

  • You work excellently both independently and as part of a team.

  • You have strong technical insight (both electrical and mechanical) and a keen interest in automation, although programming knowledge is not required.
