Vacature Electrician - Technical Department (Bulk Equipment) - Gent

We are looking for a motivated electrician to join our Technical Team, responsible for all equipment used in bulk operations, such as conveyor belts and mobile equipment. You will work closely with the team to ensure smooth preventive and corrective maintenance and prepare equipment for operational use.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Interventions:

• Preparing and setting up equipment for daily operations

• Performing scheduled (preventive and corrective) maintenance

• Responding promptly and effectively to technical issues and breakdowns

Safety:

• Strictly following safety regulations and ensuring all tasks are performed with the safety of yourself and your colleagues in mind

• Actively contributing to a safe working environment on our terminals

Communication:

• Maintaining clear, friendly, and open communication—both verbal and written

• Providing timely and proactive updates to the Container Operations Manager

• When needed, communicating with customers in a professional manner

General Approach:

• Working accurately and understanding the importance of your role within the broader operation

• Taking initiative and thinking along in terms of improvements

• Supporting and contributing to the implementation of structural improvements that make the job easier and more efficien
