Functie omschrijving

Vol-au-vent, tomato soup with meatballs, or the perfectly cooked roast beef: dishes that make your mouth water. In this role, you help make sure others can enjoy them too. In our kitchen, we produce preparations that would make grandmothers jealous, but on an industrial scale and in large quantities.

We are looking for a Cook in the Aalter region!

What are your responsibilities?

  • Hygiene is essential for any kitchen employee. That is why you ensure every day that your working methods and finished products comply with all applicable standards.
  • You strictly follow all safety regulations. You do everything possible to guarantee both quality and safety.

Who are you?

  • You have experience as a cook in a large-scale catering kitchen or an industrial kitchen. Experience in a production environment is a plus.
  • You are able and willing to work in a rotating two-shift system.
  • The early shift starts at 4:30 AM and ends at 12:30 PM.
  • The late shift starts at 12:45 PM and ends at 8:00 PM.
  • Team player – You are friendly, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with others. Helping colleagues comes naturally to you.
  • Hands-on – You are proactive, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and have strong practical insight.
  • Flexible – You like working as part of a team but can also work independently. In addition, you enjoy the variety of working with different products and tasks.
  • Communicative – You have good communication skills and a good command of Dutch and/or English.
