Function description
Within the technical department of a cardboard company in Hooglede, as a mechanic you will be responsible for:
the preventive and curative maintenance of the machinery with the aim of keeping the availability of the installations optimal.
Depending on the planning, you are responsible for dismantling, overhauling and assembling various components of the machinery.
In addition, you monitor critical bearings (shafts) and know the difference between radial and axial forces.
Performing lubrications is also part of your duties.
Besides mechanical problems, you are also able to identify and solve hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
