Vacancy Welder - 2 Shifts

Are you able to weld different pieces of bending work based on a technical drawing? Do you have a passion for custom work and do you have technical insight? Then you are the welder we are looking for!

Your duties:

• You will be able to use a semi-automatic welding machine to weld various elements of bending work from a technical drawing.
• You are responsible for finishing the welded pieces.
• You will be responsible for additional operations such as marking off, cutting burning, sanding, cutting and grinding to prepare or further finish the pieces.
• You will supervise an assistant operator in the preparation/finishing/packaging of the finished pieces.
• You are responsible for checking the pieces for correct bending so that the pieces can be finished according to the customer's specifications. Knowledge of how the bending bench works is a must.
• If necessary, you will assist as bending bench operator.
• You have sufficient knowledge to correctly adjust and use the material according to the thickness of the material and the welded joints to be made.
• Keeping the tools in good condition and reporting deviations is your responsibility.
• If the equipment malfunctions or preventive measures are taken (e.g. poorly functioning air extraction), you are the one to inform the production manager and technical service immediately.
• In case of doubts about the quality of the work, you also immediately consult the production manager.
• Finally, you are deployed to give training to new operators.
